Garlicky roasted asparagus is the perfect, easy side dish. And, since it roasts in a foil packet, there’s minimal clean up!
Jump to RecipeI LOVE asparagus. Honestly, I think it’s so underrated, even though, yes, it does make your pee smell. :P This garlicky roasted asparagus combines one of my favorite flavors: garlic with the ever delicious asparagus. And, since you can easily roast asparagus in a foil packet, the clean up for this side is minimal!
Seriously, this easy recipe only uses four ingredients–how simple is that?! And the prep work is minimal too–simply trim off the ends of your asparagus and mince your garlic. Then, whisk together the olive oil, garlic, and black pepper.
Just LOOK at all of that delicious garlic! Coat your asparagus with your oil, garlic, and pepper mixture. Then, spread the asparagus evenly onto a heavy duty sheet of aluminum foil.
Bring the edges of the aluminum foil together and seal them into a tight packet. Place the packet onto a baking sheet and roast at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes. Your asparagus is done when it can be easily pierced with a fork.
