Add all ingredients to a mason jar or large drinking glass and stir well. Let sit for 10-15 minutes so the chia seeds can start to absorb some of the water and gelatinize. Enjoy chilled or with ice!
Notes
The longer you let this lemonade sit, the softer the chia seeds will get. If you don't mind them being a little crunchy, feel free to start drinking right away!
Try this recipe out with some lime juice instead of lemon.
You can use bottled lemon juice instead of fresh, if desired. One lemon contains about 2 tbsp of juice.
Feel free to substitute honey or your other favorite liquid sweetener instead of agave nectar.
