Lemon Sage Chicken
Lemon and sage give this chicken a warm, tart flavor.

Ingredients

lb
boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4
cup
olive oil
1
lemon
juiced
2
tsp
fresh sage
finely chopped
2
cloves
garlic
minced
1/4
tsp
ground black pepper
Instructions
Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, fresh sage, garlic and ground black pepper until all ingredients are evenly dispersed.
Marinate chicken breasts for at least 2 hours (overnight is best).
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
Place chicken breasts onto prepared baking sheet and spoon any extra marinade evenly over chicken.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Notes
Dried sage can be used instead of fresh, use about 1/3 of the amount.
Chicken thighs, tenders, etc. can be used instead of chicken breasts, if desired.
2 tablespoons of bottled lemon juice can be used instead of juicing a lemon, if desired.
