Spicy Honey Roasted Carrots
These carrots have the perfect blend of heat and sweet that makes them an exciting side dish.

large carrots
peeled and chopped into ~2" sticks

tbsp
olive oil

tbsp
honey
1/2
tsp
ground black pepper
1/2
tsp
salt
1/4
tsp
cayenne pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, ground black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper until combined.
Pour mixture over carrots and toss until evenly coated.
Spread carrots evenly onto prepared baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes or until carrots can be easily pierced with a fork.
Notes
To save time preparing vegetables, baby cut carrots can be used instead of chopping up large carrots.
