I can’t believe it’s the two year anniversary of the Hookom on Health blog! I’m taking some time today to reflect on how far this blog has come in just two short years, and thinking about the future… Thank you for being on this journey with me.
Wow! Another year just flew by! It feels like just yesterday that I was reflecting on the Hookom on Health blog’s first year. I’ve written a lot of content in the past year, and added recipes to the mix as well!
Now, personally, I find the numbers interesting, so here are some of my favorites of the last year:
- Over the past year, I’ve written over 100 blog posts on Hookom on Health.
- Thousands of people from dozens of countries have viewed the content on Hookom on Health. The top 5 countries to visit Hookom on Health are: The United States, Canada, China, Ireland, and Australia.
- The majority of visitors to Hookom on Health find the blog via Google. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are also popular places for people to find Hookom on Health posts.
- The most popular blog post of the past year is “How I Passed the RD Exam”. “What I Wish I Knew Before Starting My Dietetic Internship”, “Are Lectins Really Bad For You?”, “Hookom on Health Big Updates and First Birthday”, and “My Radical Food Philosophy” are some of the other most popular posts on the blog.
- The most popular recipes on the blog are: “Pineapple Sage Chicken”, “Turkey Barley Soup”, “Crockpot Minestrone Soup”, “Shrimp Orzo Salad”, and “Ginger Soy Salmon and Quinoa Bowl with Roasted Mango and Broccolini”.
Some non-blog Hookom on Health excitement from the past year:
- The Hookom on Health YouTube channel went live and now has over a dozen recipe videos with more content in the works!
- The Hookom on Health Twitch cooking stream also went live! You can chat with me in real-time while I cook delicious food.
- I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on another exciting project which I’ll be announcing on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook next Tuesday (8/27)!
Sappiness incoming, you’ve been warned… I’m honestly so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. You make the Hookom on Health community special and possible. I’ve LOVED having the opportunity to create fun and engaging content that you find useful. It’s been a steep learning curve for me over this past year as I’ve expanded my content across more platforms. Hearing from you that you find my content helpful, and reading your kind messages makes all of this worth it for me. I’m extremely excited to see where this next year takes me and the Hookom on Health community at large! Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for making this community the special place that it is. All of you are the absolute best. <3
