Hamburgers are a classic, and super easy to make in the Ninja Foodi or air fryer! Everybody can customize their own toppings, which makes them versatile for feeding groups. With only 4 ingredients, these Ninja Foodi hamburgers are perfect for those busy nights when you don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen.

I’m keeping it simple with seasoning these burgers: garlic salt, onion powder, and ground black pepper. Sprinkle your ground beef with the seasonings and mix it together until all the seasonings are well incorporated.

Split your seasoned ground beef into four equal portions and form each portion into a patty. Keep in mind that thicker patties will take longer to cook. I typically make about 1/2 inch thick patties so that they cook all the way to the middle.

Place each hamburger into the air crisper basket of your Ninja Foodi. They can be close together, but shouldn’t be overlapping or touching. Depending on the size of your crisper basket and how many burgers you’re making, you may need to air crisp in multiple batches. Keep cooked burgers warm in your oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit while you’re air crisping the rest.

Air crisp at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes, or until burgers reach an internal temperature of 155 degrees Fahrenheit. Flip each burger halfway through cook time, so they brown evenly.

Servings: 4 people
Author: Amanda Hookom @HookomOnHealth

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix together ground beef, garlic salt, onion powder, and ground black pepper until well combined.
  • Split seasoned ground beef into four equal portions and press and form into about 1/2 inch thick patties.
  • Place hamburgers into air crisper basket of Ninja Foodi, making sure there is space around each burger. Set Foodi to 'air crisp' at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes, or until burgers reach an internal temperature of 155 degrees Fahrenheit. Flip burgers halfway through cooking for even browning.
  • Serve burgers with your favorite toppings, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store any leftovers in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.
  • If you want to make cheeseburgers, add a cheese slice on top of your burger for the last minute of air frying.
  • Depending on the size of your air fryer basket and how many burgers you're making, you may have to air crisp in multiple batches. You can place your cooked burgers in the oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit to keep them warm until the rest of your burgers are done.
  • Safety first! I love using my silicone oven mitts and tongs to keep myself safe while using my Ninja Foodi.
