Perfectly al dente every time, Ninja Foodi pasta is quick and easy to make for a minimal effort meal.
Jump to RecipeMy Ninja Foodi is my absolute favorite way to cook pasta–it just comes out perfectly every time! And with minimal effort on my part. I have this bad habit of walking away from my noodles boiling on the stove just in time for them to boil over and make a mess… But you don’t ever have to worry about that when you make pasta in your Foodi! It literally couldn’t be any simpler.

All you need to do is pour your dry pasta, water, and salt into your Foodi pot and give it a quick stir. You want to make sure the pasta is spread evenly in the pot, and that it’s all submerged under the water. Secure and lock the pressure cooking (not attached) lid, and turn the nozzle to ‘seal’. Then, just set your Foodi to ‘pressure cook’ on low for 0 minutes. Yep, ZERO minutes. Then, let the pressure naturally release (do nothing) for 10 minutes before quick releasing the pressure by turning the nozzle to ‘vent’.
Drain any excess water (there shouldn’t be much). Serve your pasta with your favorite sauce and protein, and enjoy!

Ninja Foodi Pasta
Ingredients
- 2 cups dry pasta of choice
- 2 cups water
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Pour pasta, water, and salt into Ninja Foodi pot, making sure that the noodles are evenly spread out and submerged in the water. Close and lock pressure cooking lid and set valve to 'seal'. Set Foodi to 'low pressure' for 0 minutes.
- Allow pressure to naturally release (do nothing) for 10 minutes before turning the valve to 'vent' to quick release the rest of the pressure. Remove pressure cooking lid, and drain any excess water from pasta. Be careful, as the pot will be hot!
- Serve with your favorite sauce and protein, and enjoy!
Notes
- Store any leftovers in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.
- You read that right: you only want to set your Foodi to pressure cook for ZERO minutes. This allows the Foodi to build up pressure, and then slowly release it again. Think of it like when you bring a pot on the stove up to a boil and then reduce the heat to simmer.
- Safety first! I love using my silicone oven mitts when cooking with my Ninja Foodi.
- Try it out: pour your favorite jarred pasta sauce into the pot with your cooked noodles and stir well to coat. Top with mozzarella cheese, close air crisping lid, and set Foodi to 'air crisp' at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
