Tender on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside. These Ninja Foodi Ribs are finger-licking good!
Jump to RecipeSummer is the perfect time for some juicy ribs, and I’ve perfected the low-hassle version in my Ninja Foodi. They get perfectly tender on the inside, practically falling off the bone. while having that satisfyingly crispy outside. You’re definitely going to want to try these out!

We’ve already made these ribs a few times, with perfect results every time! While I tested this recipe using a full rack of ribs, I was curious if it would work with a half rack (which is the batch I ended up taking pics with), and lo-and-behold, it does!
All you have to do is split your rack of ribs into 4 equal parts. Place them into your Ninja Foodi pot with some water and apple cider vinegar. Secure and lock the pressure cooking lid (the detached one), and make sure the valve is turned to ‘seal’. Set your Foodi to ‘pressure’ cook on high for 30 minutes. Allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes after cooking before quick releasing the rest of the pressure by turning the nozzle to ‘vent’. Make sure you’re protecting your fingers while quick releasing pressure (I use silicone oven mitts), and that you’re opening the nozzle away from your face!
Using a tongs, carefully remove the ribs from the Foodi and set them on a tray or plate. Discard the cooking liquid, and wipe dry the Foodi pot. Brush your ribs with half of the barbeque sauce and place onto a wire rack inside the Foodi pot.
Set Foodi to ‘air crisp’ at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes. Remove ribs from Foodi pot, brush with the remaining barbeque sauce and serve!

Ninja Foodi Ribs
Ingredients
- 1 rack (about 3 lbs) ribs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup barbeque sauce of choice
Instructions
- Split ribs into 4 equal parts, and place into Ninja Foodi pot with water and apple cider vinegar. Secure and lock pressure cooking lid on Foodi, and turn valve to 'seal'. Set Foodi to 'pressure' cook on high for 30 minutes. Allow pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the rest of the pressure by carefully turning the valve to 'vent'.
- Using silicone tongs, remove the ribs to a tray or plate and brush with half of the barbeque sauce. Discard the cooking liquid from the Ninja Foodi pot and wipe dry before returning pot to Foodi.
- Place wire rack into Foodi pot and place ribs on rack in single layer. Set Foodi to 'air crisp' at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.
- Brush ribs with remaining barbeque sauce and serve!
Notes
- Store any leftovers in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.
- Instead of actually discarding the cooking liquid from this recipe, you can add it to some mashed potatoes, stir it into a soup or gravy, or use it to add a savory touch to a variety of different dishes!
- Safety first! I love using my silicone oven mitts and silicone tongs to keep myself safe while working with my Foodi.
