The sweetness of honey pairs beautifully with the sharpness of garlic in this decadent chicken marinade.
Jump to RecipeHomemade marinades are one of my favorite ways to make chicken more exciting. They’re honestly so easy to whip together, plus it gives you full control of which ingredients you add. And did I mention that there’s minimal ingredients involved to begin with? It doesn’t get much easier than this!
The only chopping you have to do in this recipe is quickly mincing some garlic. After that, all you need to do is whisk all your marinade ingredients together in a small bowl.
Once your marinade is prepared, marinate your chicken breasts for at least 2 hours (overnight is best). You can marinate your chicken in either a plastic or silicone bag, or a shallow, covered dish. Just make sure to marinate in the refrigerator for food safety!
Once your chicken breasts are properly marinated, place them on a lined baking sheet. Spoon any extra marinade over them, and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-30 minutes.
Once your chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit, it’s done! Looking for some inspiration for a side dish? Check out the side dishes on Hookom on Health here.
