Jump to RecipeI’ve got another tasty, easy energy ball recipe for you today! These oatmeal raisin energy balls remind me of an oatmeal raisin cookie. They’re the perfect way to start out a busy day, or as a quick grab-and-go snack. Plus, they’re loaded with plant-based protein, whole grains, and fiber.
Once again, energy balls require very few ingredients and time to make. For this recipe, all you need is rolled oats, raisins, peanut butter, honey, and chia seeds. Simply mix them all together in a bowl until a stiff dough forms.
Then, all you have to do is roll! Roll dough into about 1 inch balls and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Oatmeal Raisin Energy Balls
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a bowl, and stir to combine.
- Roll dough into approximately 1 inch balls.
- Store balls in refrigerator.
Notes
- Energy balls can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or frozen for up to 3 months.
- Energy balls can be left at room temperature, if desired, but keep best and last longer when refrigerated.
- If the dough isn’t sticking together very well, warm it in your hands for a few seconds and it should soften up enough to form a ball.
- Experiment by swapping out the raisins for your favorite dried fruit!
