Please note: due to the quick cook time of French toast, the alcohol in this recipe does NOT completely burn off.  Please eat responsibly and only if you are over the legal drinking age for your country (21 in the United States).  Be safe!

Another note: Baileys the company is in no way affiliated with this post or recipe.  That’s just the brand I’ve chosen to use, but you could use any cream-based liqueur.

If you’ve been here for a while, you no doubt remember my first venture into boozy French toast with the creation of Fireball French Toast.  Since that recipe was such a hit, I figured there has to be other fun, boozy French toast combos I could make.  So here we are, for our second boozy French toast recipe: Baileys French Toast.

vanilla, ground cinnamon, Baileys, eggs, milk, Texas toast

The best part about this recipe is that it’s super easy to throw together.  Just pull out a mixing bowl and whisk together the eggs, Baileys, milk, ground cinnamon, and vanilla.

Baileys, egg, milk, ground cinnamon, vanilla

Spray your griddle pan with some cooking spray and heat it on the stove on medium heat.  The cooking spray will help keep your French toast from sticking.  Dip both sides of your Texas toast in the Baileys mixture and place them on the griddle.

Cook for about 2-3 minutes before flipping and cooking for another 2-3 minutes.

Enjoy your Baileys French toast as is, top with classic butter and syrup, or change it up with fresh fruit and whipped cream.  However you top them, enjoy!

And don’t forget to enjoy them responsibly.  Remember, the alcohol in these does NOT burn off.  You’ve been warned.
